Procedure of Rahu Shanti Jap

Every morning, after taking a bath and wearing clean clothes, purify the place of worship. Facing the east, offer a lamp, incense, black sesame seeds, blue flowers, and food offerings before the idol or image of Lord Rahu. After this, take a vow and chant Rahu’s Vedic mantra with devotion and concentration. This chanting should be done daily with a fixed number of repetitions, such as 3 or 5 rosaries, using a Rudraksha rosary as per convenience. Once the prescribed number of mantras is completed, one should perform a fire offering with one-tenth of that count.
