Astrology Consultation Policy

Sanatan Jyoti provides a platform through which users can connect with Astrologers for astrology and Kundli-based consultations through Audio Call, Video Call, or Chat. Sanatan Jyoti facilitates access to the consultation service and provides the technology and platform required for communication. The actual astrological consultation, interpretation, guidance, and recommendations are provided by the respective Astrologers based on their knowledge, experience, and understanding of Vedic Astrology.

By using the Astrology Consultation service, you acknowledge and agree to the terms mentioned below.

1. Nature of Astrological Consultation

The consultation provided through Sanatan Jyoti is intended for spiritual, astrological, and general guidance based on Vedic Astrology and the information provided by the user.

Astrological interpretations may differ between Astrologers based on their knowledge, experience, methodology, and interpretation of a Kundli. Sanatan Jyoti does not guarantee that any particular prediction, interpretation, recommendation, or outcome will be accurate or fulfilled.

Astrological consultation should not be considered a guarantee of future events or results.

2. Role of Sanatan Jyoti

Sanatan Jyoti acts as a platform that facilitates communication between users and Astrologers. The astrological opinions, interpretations, predictions, and recommendations expressed during a consultation are those of the respective Astrologers.

Sanatan Jyoti does not independently verify or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or outcome of individual astrological recommendations.

However, Sanatan Jyoti may assist with platform-related, technical, scheduling, payment, or service-delivery issues in accordance with its applicable policies.

3. Use of Kundli and User Information

Astrological consultation may involve the use of information such as date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, Kundli details, or other information voluntarily provided by the user.

Users are responsible for providing accurate information. Incorrect or incomplete information may affect the interpretation provided during the consultation.

Sanatan Jyoti will handle user information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.

Users should avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive personal information during a consultation.

4. Audio, Video and Chat Consultation

Astrology consultations may be provided through Audio Call, Video Call, or Chat, depending on the service selected by the user.

The availability, duration, and format of the consultation will depend on the service purchased or booked by the user.

For Chat consultations, users should remain available during the designated consultation period and provide relevant information required by the Astrologers.

For Audio and Video consultations, users should ensure that they have a suitable internet connection and a compatible device.

5. Technical Issues and Call Disconnection

Technical issues such as poor internet connectivity, call drops, device problems, network interruptions, or other communication failures may affect a consultation.

If a consultation is interrupted because of a technical issue, Sanatan Jyoti may attempt to reconnect the user with the Astrologers or provide an appropriate resolution depending on the circumstances.

Where a paid consultation could not be substantially delivered because of a technical or service-related issue attributable to the platform or service provider, the matter may be reviewed for reconnection, rescheduling, or refund in accordance with the applicable Refund and Cancellation Policy.

6. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for making their own decisions based on their personal circumstances and understanding.

Astrological guidance should be considered as one source of spiritual or personal guidance and should not be treated as a substitute for professional advice.

Sanatan Jyoti and the respective Astrologers do not guarantee specific outcomes relating to marriage, relationships, employment, business, wealth, education, health, legal matters, or any other aspect of life.

7. Professional Advice Disclaimer

Astrology consultation is not a substitute for professional advice.

Users should consult appropriately qualified professionals for:

Medical or healthcare matters
Mental health or emergency situations
Legal matters
Financial or investment decisions
Taxation matters
Business or professional decisions
Any other matter requiring specialised professional advice

Users should not make significant medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions solely on the basis of an astrological consultation.

8. No Guarantee of Results

Sanatan Jyoti does not guarantee any particular result from an astrological consultation.

Statements regarding future events, relationships, career, finances, marriage, health, business, or other circumstances are interpretive opinions based on astrological principles and should not be understood as guaranteed outcomes.

Any recommendation, remedy, ritual, gemstone, mantra, or other astrological suggestion is provided for spiritual or traditional guidance. Users should exercise their own judgment before acting upon any recommendation.

9. Conduct During Consultation

Users are expected to communicate respectfully with Astrologers and use the consultation service for its intended purpose.

Users must not:

Harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate an Astrologers.
Use offensive or inappropriate language.
Attempt to misuse the consultation service.
Share or request illegal or harmful content.
Attempt to impersonate another person.
Engage in fraudulent or deceptive activities.

Sanatan Jyoti may restrict or terminate a consultation in cases of serious misconduct or misuse of the platform.

10. Off-Platform Communication and Payments

Users and Astrologers should use the communication and payment mechanisms provided through Sanatan Jyoti for platform-based services.

Users are advised not to make offline payments or transfer money directly to an Astrologers for services arranged through the platform.

Users should also avoid sharing unnecessary personal contact information for the purpose of moving a paid consultation outside the Sanatan Jyoti platform.

Sanatan Jyoti will not be responsible for transactions, services, disputes, or losses arising from arrangements made independently outside the platform.

11. Privacy and Confidentiality

Personal information, Kundli details, and information shared during a consultation will be handled in accordance with the Sanatan Jyoti Privacy Policy.

Users should not share passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs, card details, banking credentials, or other confidential payment/security information with an Astrologers or any other person during a consultation.

Any collection, storage, processing, or use of consultation-related information will be subject to the applicable Privacy Policy and platform practices.

12. Cancellation and Refund

Astrology consultations are digital services and are generally non-refundable once the service has been successfully delivered or substantially provided.

However, a refund, rescheduling, or reconnection may be considered where:

The consultation was not provided.
The service could not be substantially delivered due to a platform or service-related technical issue.
The consultation was materially interrupted due to an issue attributable to Sanatan Jyoti or the service provider.
A duplicate payment or other verified payment-related issue occurred.

Refund or resolution requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Dissatisfaction with an astrological prediction, interpretation, recommendation, or expected outcome does not by itself constitute grounds for a refund.

13. Complaints and Service Issues

If you experience a technical issue, service-delivery issue, or other concern regarding your consultation, please contact us within 7 days of the relevant service.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sanatan Jyoti shall not be responsible for losses, damages, inconvenience, or consequences arising from a user's reliance on astrological interpretations, predictions, recommendations, or decisions made based on a consultation.

Users remain responsible for evaluating the information provided during a consultation and making decisions according to their own circumstances and judgment.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

15. Policy Updates

Sanatan Jyoti may update or modify this Astrology Consultation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its services, technology, operational practices, or applicable requirements.

The updated policy will become effective when published on the relevant Sanatan Jyoti platform or website.
