What is Shri Suktam Path?

There is hardly any person on this earth who does not desire happiness, prosperity, wealth, grandeur, and success, and the presiding deity of all these is Goddess Lakshmi. Therefore, to quickly please Mata Lakshmi, 16 hymns are mentioned in the Rigveda. These 16 hymns are dedicated to Mata Lakshmi. Among them, 15 hymns are used to worship Mata Lakshmi.

The collection of these 16 hymns mentioned in the Rigveda for the worship of Mata Lakshmi is called Shri Suktam. Those who sincerely worship Mata Lakshmi with these 16 mantras described in the Rigveda are believed to be permanently freed from financial scarcity and poverty. It is said that such devotees never remain poor for seven lifetimes. There are many other mantras to please Mata Lakshmi, but among all, the recitation of Shri Suktam is considered the most excellent and suitable.

Why should one perform Shri Suktam?
