It is said that one day Tailang Swami was sitting peacefully near the river. Suddenly, strong winds began to blow, followed by heavy rain. People who were near the river began moving towards safer places.

A man named Ram Taran Bhattacharya, who was familiar with Swami Ji, approached him and asked him to move to a safe place to protect himself from the rain.

When Ram Taran looked into the distance, he saw that the boat was indeed struggling badly in the strong waves. After some time, it appeared that the boat was about to sink.

According to the story, at that moment Tailang Swami was no longer visible at his original location. A few moments later, Ram Taran saw the same boat floating on the water, with Tailang Swami apparently sitting at one end of it.

Slowly, the boat reached the shore and all the passengers came out safely.

Ram Taran asked Swami Ji about the secret behind this incident. Swami Ji then said that he had not displayed any personal power. He simply felt the desire to save the passengers, and God had carried out the act through him.
